Unforgotten

Everytime my parents scream at me,
I'll never forget my hidden pain.
Everytime they hit me,
I'll never forget exactly how much it hurt.

Everytime i see my grandparents,
I'll never forget how they wouldn't believe me.
Everytime i hear them say they love me,
I'll never forget the doubt in their eyes.

Everytime i see someone with scars on their arms,
I'll never forget the unspoken pain.
Everytime i hear them cry,
I'll never forget the sleepless nights with unstoppable tears.

Everytime i grab a blade,
I'll never forget every moment of horrible fear.
Everytime i watch my blood flow,
I'll never forget all those who were forgotten.
