The Need To Be Right - Left Him Alone

He is a man of very little means

who cries over practically everything

spilt milk and pork and beans

renders him impishly emotional

and without any redeeming qualities.

Except for one....

He always reacts at the dropp of a hat

never missing his chance to attack

all whom he despises for having more

than he knew he ever could or would.

He likes to cuss about the President

and his Excellency's apparent lack of gravitas.

While his ranting is most apparent

what isn't is his lost and deluded point.

He is but a flyspeck on the page

of another muted poem.

Cut out from a sick society paper

benign but still a poisoned growth

he has no redeeming qualities.

Except for one....

He can articulate his rage.
