merely acquaintance is what we are,
casually greet, casually meet,
slight laughter of joy we have shared,
but of the coming have neither prepared,

what a fool, have i played,
for such insignificant remarks were made,
filled with mockery and contempt,
a true figure of disgust,
of this, I was not aware,

for deep wound, I have bore,
grief took over like never before,
tears were shed; her heart soaked,
hatred arose,
rage filled upon her chest,
clamoured loudly, yet unheard,

refuged under the shadow of ignorance,
of that I have,
when converge, not a word to be said,
eyes were not laid,
care-freely but with minor guilt,
guilt grew, and set aware,
of the action that i've declared,

days, months, had passed by,
never once we have spoke nor reply,
though pretending not to care,
in the feeling of despair,
serene sight of hope emerged,
most surely, once we converge,
word upon word I've thrust'd,
redeeming her precious trust,

pardoned for that i have,
indeed, a sense of glory,
course, injustice have ceased to awry,
unto her debt i heft,

verses were written,
for her gloom to be enlightened,
a sign of redemption,
rejuvenating our budding conviction.
