It's me again, in a letter whose content You hold patent.
My heart-professed King, these are my self-confessed sins.
Here on my knees, feeling so blue, I recount the deeds of a heart, loving so true.

Tears prove blinding but love has proven much worse.
There is the fear of loving you, but the pain of letting go lingers strong.

I sing a song. I dream of dreams. I write of memories.
I whisper of our laughter eternal.
Tears still flow on a travel without you.
To a King, I lost a friend, to eternity- a brother.

Behind the mountains we spoke of dreams; dreams bigger than these pockets
In between thoughts, our hearts swayed from side to side
Nursing doubts like Thomas, yet, staying true to Isaiah's prophecies.
Shrouded behind the mountains, sprung fountains of unwavering bonds;

Time would bring you to me, maybe not now, but surely never never.
I’ve fought the truth of my youth, denying a passion that burns without question.
You mirror my every desire, in degrees hotter than this fire.
I am no believer in fairy tales, but from your eyes, my Cinderella hails.
