Gravity & Spacetime

In our vast universe, far, far beyond what our eye sees,
Are trillions of celestial masses of widely varying densities,
Floating in an immense void in a space that is still growing,
Starting fourteen billion years ago when time started flowing.
These masses are held in the continuum of a cosmic weave,
By a force known as gravity, as we all do believe.
Sir Isaac Newton first imagined gravity when the reason he found,
Why an apple should fall down from a tree to the ground.
