between the cracks of single motherhood,
under the couch when i clean,
in the mopwater at work,

All I want is someone to take me,
to the field in the mountains,
and roll with me in the wildflowers,
Until we are eaten and itchy

The broom swishes its white tail up and down the hallways,
swish, swish, swoosh,
I let my thoughts float behind it,
lotus blossoms dropping one by one into the pond of me,
...

I thought we were soulmates intertwined in the need we had for each other,
I was wrong it seems we are kindred spirits sent to soothe each other,
and i am all the more joyous for the friendship!
gratefull to have some one to talk to and relate to more than a lover to cast aside like some empty husk,

I waited all day to hear from you,
some broken lines,
or a discarded poem,

Lost somwhere between the huntress
and the hunted,
Intricate webs are spun from these wide legs,
from secret places,

Come than and give me your hand,
lets now step off this, flat world,
We will trust our weight wholly to the air,
Or growing wings begin to fly,

my brothers may see war,
they may lay in deep trenches
praying to any god that listens,
and both submissive and deadly may find,

the time changes,
evreyone walks around dull eyed and shocked looking,
its as if pieces are missing
vital ones,
