From cradle to old age we feed in lies
There is a famine of freedom and we watched in pity
Our land is in chains and the people in pains

We have sold our wrappers
To buy 'garri'
Our neighbours sold a piece of land
To buy a diamond ring

Each night she cries in silence
Torn apart by the darts of unspoken words
Her emotions were utterly ruined
Left alone in the closet of her heart

Life
As a child is amiable,
Charming and pleasant
But;

The mind wrestle against memories
A slomen remembrance of a troubled past
Unfathomable rythms of pain
Hatched into agonising voices of forbidden hereseis

Why do you spite my ways;
Why do you flash your teeth
When i say hello
And mock me
...

In the middle of nowhere
When darkness was at it's thickest
When life was of no essence
When all i saw was emptiness
...

An array of wearing faces;
Grumbling bowels
Gathering thoughts
Intense in grieve
...

Surrounded by inherent distractions
I rise and fall
My heart palpates like a dying toad
My spirit is burdened by these riotous ambiances
...

Lonely souls bound by fate
A vibrant army tied by boundaries
At the peak of our innocence
We made our vows
