My Grandmother was so sweet and special
She helped everyone and always had a way to care
For everyone who came into her presence
There was an elegant sense of essence. Her smile was always there
Even when she was in pain that was hard to bear.
She was strong and never gave up
Lord knows, she achieved the winning cup. She was such a good lady
Gentle, generous, and kind
And she could really cook
By hand, fast without using a recipe book! No one can ever replace
My Grandmother's face,
Or what she meant to me
And the person I've become to be!
