Watching Reykjavik

Mt. Esja, looms with an airy pomp,
And keeps watchful eye on cityscape.
The blameless blue reflect from Snaefellsjokull,

Clambering up to the Hallgrimskirkja spire,
Insighting the quizzical with magnetic pace.
Bright-painted pastiche of sharp corrugated roof tops,
Leaves a distinctive, visual metallic taste.
