Grace

We read in the bible,
It's a wonderful guide.
Of truths and of visions,
And mans ignorant pride.

We visit on Sunday,
From six days outside.
We enter the doors,
Grace comes to mind.

With the power of lightning,
As it shouts loud and clean.
But it whispers so softly,
From the heart it is seen.

To understand grace is given,
From birth it is written through time.
He gave the world his only son,
Through this grace we learn divine.

A short trip to church,
And paying your tithes.
Can be wasted so easily,
Without grace at your side.

Through only grace,
Can we see what's inside.
Take off the old man,
Reveal the new man in time.

We must constantly search,
Through the heart and mind.
See the difference between,
The truth both of them hide.

Through gospel the
Sound comes so easy.
While you're sitting,
It all seems so clear.

But the moment arrives,
Sometimes tears in our eyes.
As we exit the church.
And bid our good-bye's.

The dark side can cloud your thoughts.
Through grace the dark side is blind.
Changing the old we surrender to grace,
Which releases patience in time.

Grace will prove charm and beauty,
And expel virtues coming through.
But approval is not Gods favor,
It's from what the new man would do.

Grace is given to us by the Lord.
Not a right but given within.
Our disposition to influences,
Is how God and the new man will win.
