Your hand to my face,

Human Exchange

Your hand to my face,
Wrist turned, a moment.
Your fingers through my hair,
Eyes wide, doting.

The love you possesed,
For me, for us
The passion you exuded,
With fire behind you.

How was I to know?
Heart, hurting,
Longing for you.
Your everything, your breath
Those doting eyes.

My lungs were yours,
We borrowed, we replaced.
We morphed as one,
Complimentary souls.

You took unknowingly,
I stole subconciously.
We broke together,
I killed us slowly.
