C. Ann Cook Biography

I am a forty year old Mother of three, (all grown up) , whose using this time to recover from a stroke in October 2006. Actually, the Docs can't make up their minds if it was a stroke or MS exacerbation. I was raised out west with the landscape of Arizona as my back yard. I've only returned to the state of my birth recently and have found more than myself here. John, my fiance, has been an absolute prince to me. Growing flowers and watching birds from my balcony is as much a comfort as any. I have been writing poems for family and friends for a long time and am developing a serious interest in doing something to get them out there to the world. Overall, I'm a down to earth person loving the living that is my life.)

Dancing Stars

Dancing. Floating on the breeze.
Flashing. Drifting through the trees.
A twinkle here. A twinkle there.
Seeming to twinkle everywhere.
Stars in the sky. Stars on the ground.
Stars twinkle all around
Seen out late.
This night time date
A signalling chance.
This lightening bug dance.
