Candy A. LaRock Poems

Darkest midnight, never-ending night
No end in sight.

I cry out, help, no sound comes out
...

How dare you?
Says a voice in the dark.

How dare you?
...

Footsteps on the ground, hands reach down
Gathering tinder from all around.

Crackle and crunch says the dry leaves
...

Bubbles and butterflies
Childhood dreams.

Playtime and puppies

Darkest Midnight

Darkest midnight, never-ending night
No end in sight.

I cry out, help, no sound comes out
An unbreakable seal.

I seek strength to carry on but
All is gone.

I dream of loved ones lost
I long to hold again.

I look to God in hopes he hears
But my voice so small.

I want to change but can’t alone
Is there help out there?

I can do this, I can win
If this I believe.

I can move forward
Learn from my past.

Darkest midnight, never-ending night
There is an end in sight.
