I'm impressed with the ease by which
you could sit back and idly observe,
while I was degraded and demeaned
by he who attempted to create the illusion

The life I once thought would result in my own demise
Has been replaced, reconstructed, resurrected...

The broken woman I used to be
Can sleep in peace at last
...

We, two, shall walk as one

afraid to let you in
inside this broken heart
