Didn't I see you crying, when we said our goodbyes?
When I held you in my arms for the very last time.

Didn't I see you crying, when I kissed your lips?
...

So many things to say and do
But I can't seem to find a way
Trying to find myself,
But times running out.
...

I paid my dues, time and time again. For the crimes I've committed, I've done my sentence. Bad mistakes, I've had those too, and it caused me to question who I wanna be? When I reached for those stars, without the wings to take me that far, I lived each day in a helpless dark. And then finally, finally the world opened up to me, and the sun began to shine. And suddenly, that thing that I thought was only in fairy tales, oh with that first hello, and that sweet gentle smile.
I suddenly had a crystal vision, one I kept to myself. But oh how I wrapped it around my dreams, how I wrapped him around my dreams.
They say that thunder only happens when its raining, but when that rain washes you clean you'll know, you'll know of a earth shattering emotion so deep within that you don't recognize it. I never did promise a bed of roses, or the moon, and the stars, the sun, the ocean like other woman did, but he, this guy that changed who I am, saw right through me. And my heart, my God my heart.
That thudded to a melody that he gave, ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom. But still I held my cards close to my chest, with my heart still being put to the test. he knocked me off my feet, he somehow made me feel complete. So there I was, a life with new meaning, cause when I awoke, suddenly I was in love. Suddenly there was beauty everywhere including in his eyes.
...

In your mind, there's a hint of disregard.
You wait for the chance to feel alive,
to wash away the worse of who you are inside.
...

I commit murder in my mind
Every day, a hundred times,
A hundred ways.
I could kill you today,
...

Didn'T I See You Crying

Didn't I see you crying, when we said our goodbyes?
When I held you in my arms for the very last time.

Didn't I see you crying, when I kissed your lips?
As if I stole your soul with the touch of our mouths

Didn't I see you crying, when you held my hand?
How perfectly suited we are, as they molded and formed

Didn't I see you crying, when I said those words?
As if those were the last words you would ever hear.

Didn't I see you crying, when I faded away?
And I'm sorry that today, I have gone away.
