That Song

I do anything to take the time, and thoughts of you away from my mind.
I sometimes wonder why I still care.

And then I here that song again.
That bitter-sweet sound of indescribable darkness.

It touches my memory like no type of anger can.
It fuels my desire to revisit the past.

If I were to see you again, I would have no words.
But I would hear that song once again.

Playing in my mind, forcing me to remember, that I would always remember.
