How I yearn for those good old days
when mother was up and around
and the tasks she had to face each day
I still find hard to compound

Now you know I want to love you
But do you know what love is dear?
Is that feeling deep inside of us
That can make those dark clouds disappear

Now I guess I will have to light another candle
Because the one I lit before has lost its glow
It brings back many a fond recollection of the moments that we shared not long ago
