Daddy's dazzled by the lights
Fairydust is in his eyes.
And as he runs, he cannot see
The knives that stand proud from the tree.

Not close to the ground

Sleazy smoke surrounds my eyes
Imaginations ink still tries
To mar my mind with mystic magic
And lynch my life with lies so tragic.

No Consequences (Ribbons - An Observation 2)

Daddy's dazzled by the lights
Fairydust is in his eyes.
And as he runs, he cannot see
The knives that stand proud from the tree.
Anaesthetised by his youth,
Searing pain reveals the truth.

A mothers lament

All across the world mothers watch
Their childrens' fathers
Cut themselves to ribbons
On their own - stupidity.

And still they are loved.
