Charlie Galan Poems

We shared the same garden,
Before the fall of Angels
And the end of Eden.
...

Shine

Perishing love
...

Be the last
Face I see
Before taking leave
Of this failing fragile vessel.
...

Some summer memories
Are forever covered with warm gold,
Illuminated from within
With an intense light that cannot be held.
...

Fog horns moan
Amid the boats bobbing in Departure Bay,
Sounding, beckoning, warning,
Those listening to the inner harbour air.
...

Who will care
For wounded Angels?
Who will mend
Their broken wings?
...

My Guarding Angel’s kiss
Is a sweet perfect sweet mist
Of honey
Hard liquor
...

I never knew

How bitter
...

Two Flowers From The Same Garden

We shared the same garden,
Before the fall of Angels
And the end of Eden.

From us came sacred flowers,
With precious petals that crumbled when held,
Blooms that might have flourished
If they'ed been left 'unattended' by others..

We were two flowers from the same garden,
Who by our nature disintegrate on touch,
But need to be touched
And touched
And turned into the finest most beautiful dust.
