The blind man's wife, a shining star!
Like a non-vanishing light in the darkest infinity,
You guide the blind man to his destiny. Through your words of supreme good,
The unfortunate blind man sees
The sun, the moon, and the stars;
The mountains, the forests, and the seas,
And God's gracious faces. You are the truth, the way to your man,
He follows you all along with attention.
You need no cosmetics and no fashion,
Your beauty is beyond his imagination. Lifetime's selfless sacrifice,
Rewarded only with sightless eyes.
Though happiness may have gone afar,
Yet no mortal is ever as you are:
Overpowering the soul of a man
With love's power mighty -
The Truth, the Goodness, and the Beauty!

A NOTE ABOUT MY POEMS For thousands of years artists yearned to integrate Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Poems HEAVEN & THE BLIND MAN'S WIFE did it. In HEAVEN it is in the image of a baby. If we watch a baby closely, we will deeply believe it is true. Since we all were babies once, which means a human being originally IS an integration of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty; and he comes from HEAVEN that is mother's bosom. THE BLIND MAN'S WIFE is another self-sacrificial model of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. Here the sublime replaces baby's innocence. Different art forms address different features of reality: music is about memory, paint - this moment, poetry - creation. Poetic rhyme is music, poetic picturesque words are paints, poetic good will is goodness. Poetry can integrate Truth, Goodness, and Beauty, since poetry is creation which makes everything possible.
