Because we are as we are,
we still keep going.
It is because of evil,
that we yearn for divinity.

The sky,
a big blue face,
holding its rolling clouds in mid-air.
Leisurely hanging above all of the turmoil.

The rain will be falling.
The thunder will be pounding.
The lightning will be striking.
The clouds will be rolling.
...

The earthquake threw me.
I can't stand straight.
The building is going to collapse.
Everything is unstable.

Beauty surpasses the physical features of one.
It is not only what we see when we look at a person.

It is the spiritual qualities and bonds felt.

I don't deserve God.
I don't deserve his trust.
I don't deserve his presence.
I don's deserve his love or faith

Defeat

I give up
I lost another battle,
causing me this war.

It's over,
there's nothing else,
no more hope,
no more effort.

It's futile,
not worth it.

Why put me through this pain?
Why do I keep doing this?

Now I have to walk through the battle field.
Past the broken bodies,
the dead dreams,
and the forgotten memories.

Holding my white flag up high,
I surrender,
and fade away.
