Christopher McNabb Poems

In the depth, the dark of night.
They come and whisper in my ear.
Where the shadows plot their plight.
Hoping they may draw me near.
...

On the Shore
Of mans greatest lore
I reveled, in a moment
As an hour glass
...

So mighty on thy throne!
A heart made of ice.
No ones right no ones wrong!
What did you sacrifice?
...

I know you, theres no hiding in plain sight.
I see you, No matter what face you use.
I can feel you, burning in the night.
I am not senseless, you are my muse.
...

An enormous puzzle, the human mind
Concidered the heart in a painful time
Spread out the memories on the floor
So many pieces, some I adore
...

Melt into a quantum rift,
And find my soul is still adrift.
Swam across a steller sea,
A heart that never belonged to me.
...

My pen doth flow
It has no emotion
It should not know
The feel of the ocean
...

Whats right, Whats wrong
Confusion plays a riddled song
The more I try the more I'm wrong
Whats right must be whats wrong
...

What a simple mind has done.
Just can't see beyond their tongue.
Open their mouths and the truth is born.
All so lucky their thoughts don't swarm.
...

Empty shadows on the floor
Cast empty voices at my door
Half the substance they were before
Half the voices are no more
...

Not now, not morrow
Trample solemn sorrow
Just a moment I would borrow
Finding petals in my harrow
...

Descencion

In the depth, the dark of night.
They come and whisper in my ear.
Where the shadows plot their plight.
Hoping they may draw me near.

Darkness comes into my soul.
From deceit and mal intention.
Fed by a heart that isn't whole.
It stands gaurd for my descension.

As a child they told me lies.
As a man they're my demise.
Whom shall break these chains that bind.
A heart thats salvaged not confined.
