Climbed up into a tree
All we wanted to do was just to see
If our love was so high and would it still be

The years came and went and days swam past
The sands of time just whiz by so very very fast
Before I knew it my life was nearing the winter
And I still longed and ached for a true love to enter

I walked the winding path leading down to the bay
Hope filled my heart as I last heard you say
You would try to meet me down here so that we could play
But as fate would have it, you could not get away
...
This has been a winter unlike any I have seen before
No snow on the ground and no freezing winds did blow
Been a whole lot like a mellow Spring time of the year
Those gentle South Winds have been blowing mostly around here

Up A Tree
My sweetheart and me
Climbed up into a tree
All we wanted to do was just to see
If our love was so high and would it still be
Well the higher we climbed our love grew stronger
So we climbed to the top and couldn't stand it any longer
We knew for a fact that out love was the real thing
So we decided to get married in the first coming spring
And get married we did and my sweetheart soon with child
Her face was so radiant and my pride far from mild
After a while she gave birth to a sweet precious baby girl
And we were so happy our hearts in a whirl
We named the baby girl Sienna Rose
Such a lovely name for our baby we have chose
Now the world is just perfect and it will always be
For our little family my sweetheart Rose and me
We are so happy we climbed up that tree
