Clarice McClain Poems

Lord in every poem I write, somewhere you will find a tear.
Saying Father God, something is wrong, I need to know you're near.
Not just enough the heart-ache and pain, but when I feel I cannot take anymore.
For it's then I need my inner strength recharged, because my fuel to go is low.

Why God let me live a little longer,
in my heart I know why.
He let me know that life and death, has a greater meaning that lies beyond the sky.
My sickness taught me how to suffer, and constantly call upon his name.

Father, I'm tired of running red lights, making u-turns or
going down dead end streets.
Lord, I need you to guide me, show me the light, to the
destination you want me to reach.

Lonely Emotions

Lord in every poem I write, somewhere you will find a tear.
Saying Father God, something is wrong, I need to know you're near.
Not just enough the heart-ache and pain, but when I feel I cannot take anymore.
For it's then I need my inner strength recharged, because my fuel to go is low.
Father I know you can wipe away all my tears, but within they never end.
Because this world is filled with too much corruption, tears are unable to mend.
