Are the fertile soil for thoughts that bring
Inspiration and peace, love and refreshment,
Bearing the fruits of soothing encouragement.

Hunger laid out its pot waiting for a harvest of grain,
But the barren land was parched, so forgotten by the rain.

The tongue of the wise brings healing
And the words of Compassion, comforting.
As apples of gold in settings of silver
Words finely chosen birth harmony there.

Those who are free can run their mountains
Sail their seas and have no fear,
Those who are free can speak, contain-
And voice the thoughts that they hold dear.

A child brings such a difference to a home-
Wonder and joy, amazement at his being,
Each moment reveals that Love's fruit had come
His need draws out Care naturally flowing.

There was every reason for Despair,
A languishing state of consuming pain.
Like a parched land dried and gasping for air,
Cracked in spirit, so rejected by rain.

Sometimes we get to read behind
The lines of people's actions.
We sense the discord and we find
Why events end up in confusion.

Unthinkable, but so it seems
Those who engineered it now say
It's a hybrid virus that they deem
Can infect human cells today.

On a scale of one to ten,
I'd say nine would gauge it.
Many false and cunning friends-
They charmed me with deceit.

A thousand dolphins slaughtered today,
And this is Environment Day.
A thousand cows were killed somewhere -
Too much Carbon Emission to spare.
