He stomps upstairs
In a normal routine
What are parents these days?

Everyday I live in fear that you'll get bored of me
Or I'll do something wrong and you'll find somebody better
You say that you love me but it's only been six months
And I'm just scared you'll get over me I waited for you for so long helped you through hard times and made you lie to yourself

I wish I could tell you
That you're not fat
That you're fine just the way you are
That you're pretty enough

Walk with me down life's road
Sometimes having feelings of despair.
Not sure whom, I may turn to,
Wondering if Heavenly Father is really there.

My eyes were once heavy
And burdened with sin
The cloud of my envy
Darkened my vision

I miss his arms around me,
I miss when there was a We,
He used to hold me and say I love you,
Now he just looks at me and says I hate you.

He is sensible and so incredible
And all my single friends are jealous
He says everything I need to hear and it's like
I couldn't ask for anything better

How long am I going to sit here,
and just keep writing down,
all the feelings that I'm bottling up,
I feel like I'm going to drown.
