Whats up Dave? Just a few lines to let you know that you are very much admired as a
Poet. You have a unique way of voicing your opinions and concerns in a very good way.
That makes for an excellent poet. Thanks for all the great writes. Will read more as time permits.

Dave Alan Walker is a new encounter over here.
Creative and thought provoking, highly inflammable and steadily descending and meticulously well crafted and distinctly amusing, his short poems have a rare grace and are sure to mark a difference here. I wish Mr Dave to make many innings over here.

Hi Dave - I like your poems because they are short and precise, simple and easy to read and understand. I drown in words because I cannot swim in very long poems.

In Chains

Daddy why do they keep you in chains
Why won't you come home

Their going to send me away
Why do they keep you in chains

Son I killed a man
Cut him down dead
Watched his life float away
