Dave Ben'Dafe
Biography of Dave Ben'Dafe
I was born into a family of scholars. I grew up surrounded with literatures of different disciplines that kept my young mind company throughout my childhood.
At an early age, it was discovered that I wasn’t as strong as the rest of my siblings. Blessed with a frail and feeble state by nature, hospitals became my second home. This led my young mind in an odyssey in search of answers but i found more questions than answers.
My only solace came from the literature i studied... from the 'Bard Of Avon' to Ole Homer and Ovid and then the passion for poetry was born.
My inspirations like a fresh spring flows forth from introspective survey of inner space, a keen observation of nature and historical events, The Good Book and my relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ 'by whose grace i have access to the Throne of Grace'...
I'm a student of many discipline, each of which have an overbearing influence on my thought so therefore it will be inaccurate to swear allegiance to any but all.
I don't price myself as a poet though other think otherwise, i believe i only write 'poor poetry' which is not worthy of God or glory yet so i'll love it if you can give me a tip on how to improve on my writing by your honest comment....

Happy Birthday Honoré de Balzac!

Memories Of You
I wandered down the woods again
And thru' the thicken'd forest saw,
Your face engraved behind each woodland flower,
Lighting the trees with y'ur magic power.
Thru' gushes of windy air,
I caught y'ur perfume on the breeze.
Delighting in the scent of you,
Bringing me sweet thought renew.
