I Can'T Wait To Meet You

I always try to stay distracted
The more I think, the more it aches
I know someday our paths will cross,
And I know you can’t rush fate.
I work each day on a better me,
Cuz I think mine’s the fate I make.
But do I go out and try to find you,
Or patiently must I wait?

Forever hopeful, I go on with life,
Knowing one day you will be my wife.
For now just know one thing is true,
It’s that I can’t wait to meet you.
The thing to know to get you through,
Is that I can’t wait to meet you.
 
Are you just around the corner,
Or are you miles away?
Do you lie awake and think of me,
Are you missing me today?
Looking forward to tomorrow,
I know it’s yet another day.
One less day to walk alone,
Before you come my way.
