On a dark moonless night

When the stars shone bright

Please! Stop the war
Can't you see people are dying
We don't care if your big and were small
Guns, swords and even atom bombs
...

Observe the beautiful nature around you

Hear the quack of the duck and cow's moo
...

A dream to come true

The Ruins Of Mount Haden

On a dark moonless night

When the stars shone bright

The bats spread their wings

And the crow ended its flight

There stood the castle of Mount Haden

With its dark walls, turrets and towers

The rusted gates and the unkempt vines

Gardens full of bowed trees and withered flowers

Deserted was the castle of Mount Haden

Empty was the throne where the king once sat

Empty also was the hall that was once grand

The feast for nobles, now dined spiders and rats

Decayed were the corpses of the once chivalrous knights

The stone steps painted red with their blood

Also lay the soulless body of a man who once was king

His armour now splattered with grime and mud

None thought about the treasure of Mount Haden

A treasure of which stories were told

By nannies to the little ones

Of a treasury filled with gems, silver and gold

The hearth in the lounge was not lit
Nor were the chimneys smoking
No more was the delectable aroma wafting through the kitchens
That once was so deliciously provoking

The king’s bed, with a lion’s head carved on it
And an Ottoman of a striking design
On a wall was burnt tapestry
Showing off the king’s bloodline

The evil had descended unto the Mount
The ghost of days passed lingered in the shadows
Slowly had the castle on the mount crumbled
Black were now the once green meadows

Legends of the castle long since forgotten
Replaced now with laments for the dead
the once lively castle now was without the living
as blood had once flown freely, crimson and red

On a dark moonless night

When the stars shone bright

There stood the ruins of a castle

As the crow ended its flight
