To see beyond the worldly view, to see what Jesus brings,
To see what He alone can do, as Christ, the King of Kings.

Enough to bring this world down fast, unless God intervenes,
Yet nations that reject the Lord, and all God's prophecies,
Will learn that when they cut the cord, their troubles will increase.

On the road to resurrection, our Saviour walked by faith,
He was not the crowd's selection, they kept Barabbas safe.
Thus Christ was whipped, almost to death, then hoisted up above,
His name? Jesus of Nazareth, we call the King of Love.

There comes a time when words get shared by writers young and old,
By poets, too, as they prepared their stories to be told.
Yet who can say the ones God blessed of all thoughts that were penned,
Or those that left the Lord impressed, yes, right up to THE END?

How God loves a cheerful giver, no matter, great or small,
For our money can deliver a timely miracle,
Such that the taxman may relent and help some charity,
At times when money's sent or spent in true humility.
