To Have And To Hold

I look back in time and, love I do see
We walked hand in hand so happy and carefree.
A kiss on the cheek, a smile on his face
It’s all so wonderful, he's my saving grace.

We joined our hands together
Our hearts bound in gold
We promised always to have and to hold

Now time has gone by and here we still are
We drive to the river with our pups in the car.
Watching the steamboats as they pass by our view
It's such a pleasure spending my time with you.

As I age and grow old I can always depend
On you my dear, you are my best friend.
You give my will to survive, and go on.
No matter how hard the road my seem.
I listen to your wisdom, you are my king.

I close my words now with a gift for you dear
To always promise to hold you so close
No matter how far are near we may be
You are the only man for me.
