My daddy said it's time

Yesterday I took a walk, along the streets of poor
There were broken bottles next to the sick and hungry
who were trying to hide from the cold.
In cardboard boxes with newspaper blankets

Today I lost a friend, and I
believe that life's unfair
It makes it hard to open up

Picture a beautiful meadow
with daisies all around
And standing there in that meadow
where hundreds of butterflies surround.

We took his Yacht out into the blue waters
