Mr. Perfect

Feels like my wish came true, whenever I'm standing next to you,
Not a fallen angel, ‘cause the devil could never influence you!
You were made from the soul of the earth,
And the way that you shine leaves the sun unrehearsed!

How did you find me or knew I'd feel complete?
Just one touch of your heart and I am in one piece.
Looking into your eyes, I see a vision of a beautiful girl,
I guess that's how you see me, unlike the world.

Because I'm a broken-wreck in a state of depression,
Saying my heart can't handle another invasion.
In some way you're like me, desiring perfection,
We don't see what we see, saying it's an illusion.

And you my dear left me defenceless,
Filled me with love wherever I felt emptiness!
Made me strong and ready,
For the stars I always wanted but couldn't reach.

Like the rain, you washed away all of my mistakes,
I made a promise to myself, you won't be replaced!
Because, you held my hand and taught me to dance,
To the lovely sound of my heart, that I now understand.

I'll give you my heart on a plate,
If you tell me with you I'm safe.
You're no angel, your humbleness speaks,
You say you're a failure, darling, that's not what I see.

And I want to take this chance to let you know,
My heart's for your taking and not just for a show.
I am so beautiful, I can finally believe,
All the flaws that I have, is what makes me unique!
