The Terrible Twos

Bless their hearts--the terrible twos,
What a trying of one's experience it can bring. A "No" command is usually greeted tactfully,
With a sweet smile and a repeat performance. Likes and dislikes in food and drink are known,
While a change of diet may be tossed on the floor. Be careful what you say around baby boy,
Unless you want it repeated when guests arrive. Winnie the Pooh and Sesame Street please for awhile,
But a mechanical toy or noisemaker satisfies more. A Rock-A-By song last year would bring sound sleep.
While reading him book after book puts baby sitter to sleep. Grandparents love them when they are two,
And really celebrate when baby sitting is through.
