in stone was burn

My words may not reach
or caress your heart,
but they come from deep within
for it is only there I make my start

Its hard to figure
what makes some tick
or why some self limit
with the forming of a clique
...

This road I am destined to walk
requires faith and strength
There are days I falter
and feel I just can't go the length
...

Many times I have been asked
what I need of love
You mean the kind that is Angel blessed
and sent from above?
...

Forty plus years
this rose began its start
with a love so pure
from two connected hearts
...

Are you sure that what
you are about to say
Once you give it thought
will not force you to pray
...

I stand at my window
as the dawn kisses the earth
The dark void of night
gives way to a new day's birth
...

Oh the inner me
I wish you to shake
What now lies dormant
to once again wake
