Let not our minds with unknown fears be filled;
Let not our hearts seek love that never fails;
Let not our endeavors be ever killed,
Till soul sinfree and Heavenwards, sets sails.

The Hurricanes are back with renewed force;
The sea is rough and wind is blowing fierce;
The battered houses could be wrecked some more;
The shattered homes can’t start life once again.
...

Jogging’s not better than the running act;
To run on sand is tougher than on ground;
A rumor is not equal to the fact;
Go by the voice and not recorded sound.
...

Will human beings never learn lessons?
Their hearts turn cold with time and minds think not,
Preoccupied with vengeance in sessions;
To overthrow their opponents, they plot.
...

Money when God-given, will everlast;
Though spend you may like water for good deeds;
Money when earned by man will get spent fast;
And never can suffice to meet your needs.
...

This life of mine, I owe to you my God;
The countless blessings I have had are yours;
Without your help, my life can’t go on, Lord;
Your infinite mercy makes me rejoice.
...

God keeps me better than many others!
And yet, I seem very dissatisfied;
I envy my poorer sisters, brothers!
...

How blessed am I when I behold others!
God's been so kind to me in umptine ways;
My heart is touched by my ailing brothers,
Diseased, suff'ring- they seem to count their days.
...

When things beyond my control do occur,
And fortune favors just the evil minds:
When my own people with me don’t concur,
My remnant patience to a halt well grinds.
...

But last, the rain has come torrentially!
No more, the summer’s sun can scorch our heads;
The campus-life has turned too, cordially;
For one more year, we’ll be like newly-weds!
