Mona Lisa's Eyebrows

It was when I observed a masterpiece
And there was so much to see
But it was what was missing that made me think
If she’s flawed than how perfect can one hope to be?
Not a single person, idea, or creation is complete
They all have their respective flaws,
A blemish on natural beauty should really be
Considered a celebration call
We should relish the way we live,
Because our mistakes are what makes us real
And nothing perfect can be as complex as a person is,
And when I realized what I found was powerful
I saw that this is the way in which we are sick,
We criticize everyone’s imperfections
when in fact we should
focus on finding the best in them
so ask yourself if you could,
whenever you write your first impressions,
look below the bald eyebrows of Mona Lisa,
search for the smile and try to embed it in your brain
and you’ll see that we all are masterpieces,
but thankfully because of our flaws we aren’t all the same.
