Through the curtains I could feel the shame
Never wanting to take another breath
Seeing all the blood one pill could do
Knowing that what was once there, was gone
The feeling of a monster within me
A mother would never do what I just did
Knowing that this moment will last forever
As tears roll down my cheek
The quenching pain of a piece of glass tearing me apart
No I am not the same person I was 30 minutes ago
I must take what is left of me and shape me anew
For this moment will never leave my memory
It will only haunt me in my sleep
