Cats

Cats are cats, and that's a fact.
So there's no need to blame him.
Even though you do your best,
you will never change him.
He purrs and cons, and roots your leg
until he gets his food.
Then when he's fed,
his actions border on the rude.
He sleeps all day and
prowls all night searching for a mouse.
He knows each work nook and cranny.
He thinks he owns the house.
So if you think you own your cat,
that just isn't true.
It's hard to face, but facts are facts.
That darn cat owns you!
