Bummed Out About Yesterday

Drugs are all gone
Brain is all dry
Reality’s all I’m on
Suddenly asking why

Why things went so wrong
Why all the friends are gone
Why I had to pay
Such a price to play

Playing so hard
Thinking it was fun
In the devils back yard
Now I’m the only one

The only one still breathing
The only one around
The only one believing
With my face down on the ground

The one He chose to bless
The one who listened up
While the others lived a mess
And wound up so fricked up

I know things aren’t that bad
Just a moment in time
To feel a little sad
Honoring old friends with a rime

Rest in Peace my past
Had to happen in the end
Living life so large and fast
What is broke doesn’t always mend
