Edward Abraham Poems

With futile gasps, the world disappears
Lost with day by day
Stranded by memories filled with tears
Have thrown it all away
...

Suffer through fail; heart and connectLonely seaside nights
Pain ensue and life dissect
Life's transcendent lights

3.

Copious and heart-thumping glimmers of God's joy
All came down to reign on his throne

The eyes of a cowering child
With his boundless purity
On whom fate had smiled
But whose hate was cultivated by maturity
...

Men losing it all to scraggy feelings
Lost their life to Peter's dealings
All that was, is in the ground
All that is, ends with resound!

With futile gasps, the world disappears
Lost with day by day
Stranded by memories filled with tears
Have thrown it all away

Sans a mother, sans a friend
Heartache being one of thirst
Love be lost and death impend
Is one of his very worst

Play and find but find is lost
A sight for restless boys
Friend, friend, be my friend, for this is just the cost!
