To my earthly room

In the still of the night, by the promise of the moonlight
Whispers of the wind, all I could hear are memories

Scattered stars hold my thoughts like silhouettes

My youth is what I no longer possess
On this body, some genes didn’t exist
Though he left me now with this wrinkled skin
It’s his young shadow that shines within

He watches the sun drifts away,
Like a friend bidding goodbye,
On a chair where grandma used to sit,
That is as old as her legs then to rock;

Sweet sweat smell hovers
Scattered toys on the floor
In their empty rooms
...

We each have a hilosophy in life
Some of which we believe a strife
Predictions to fear from
Ahead of time
...

It's so nice to dream
Far and wide
And not be awaken
By the normality of life
...

Far afield the snow
And the scents of firs billow
Rhythm in the sky
...

I still dream upon the seeds I sow
To reap each fruit from which it grew
Though my hands are too weak and too slow
Every clasp of a prayer, I could hoe
