Elena Tsonkova Poems

Flattened as a patch-work
On the concrete road,
Merciless humans passing by-
Dumb,
...

Speechless moon.
The eyes, embraced, are whispering -
The lips are silent.

The girl wouldn't say a word
for months.
Not a single utterance.

Trust your love in my hands.
like a little sandy pebble-stone.
But then what?
What shall I do with it?

The Best Poem Of Elena Tsonkova

Freedom

Flattened as a patch-work
On the concrete road,
Merciless humans passing by-
Dumb,
Showing neither remorse, nor regret,
Not even indifference, cause even indifference
Is still something to be shown
And felt…

Showing nothing but emptiness-
Invisible, unreachable, untouchable,
Detached...

And the only sign of life around are
A few greyish-white
Feathers, free to follow the wind
Wherever it wishes to wonder.
