Elisa M. Golden Poems

You and I are like raindrops on glass -
Two separate droplets haltingly moving
down a window pane following a summer storm.
...

Long tapered ebony sticks
astutely poised between nimble fingers.
Confidently, you lift slippery rolled raw tuna
up to a sensual waiting mouth.
...

Brick, glass, wind gusts.
You nestle in a window frame, roller ball poised.
I sit beside you, envying the stylus married to your hand.

Raindrops

You and I are like raindrops on glass -
Two separate droplets haltingly moving
down a window pane following a summer storm.

With gentle fate our paths converge.
Absorbing each other, we make a
smooth, gradual acceleration.

Now one in movement,
on a direct continuum we move,
until our blended spent dropp evaporates.
