the bamboo floor
while mother

Let us sleep and dream
Let us pluck out the stars
From heaven and plant them
in the ocean of mermaids.

The plane soars up high
beneath and above the clouds
of Cirus, Cumulus and Nimbus
it flies.

The clock keeps on ticking
and we fill the night with our loud
snoring; wanting peace and rest,
dreaming paradise in a far away land.
