Money Stole Everything

It was dark already
and I wasn't at home
which was my habit
climbed up the big tree
and watched the world from above

I could see my mother
from the window
she looked beautifully dressed
in silks and jewelries
that only few could afford

outside the big house
stood my father
in his coat and cigarette
looking honorable and rich

They were perfect for others
but left the table for dinner
with loaded food, with a chair occupied
by me.
I was alone
I was the Rich man's daughter
bought me some pearls
and we shall be friends
-NO.

I hated the people
for letting themselves captured by golds and papers
To let their own love to die
In her room, alone and alone.
