And In Parentheses Fremont
Within these walls are my dreams
Within these walls I learned of hope
...

If I must then, it must be done ``my way''
For your eyes cannot see what my eyes see,
Nor, can your heart carry what mine's will.
Therefore, if I must then, stand back and let me

Tell me is it not meant for me to be loved
I'm merely a body that's all

And In Parentheses Fremont
Within these walls are my dreams
Within these walls I learned of hope
Within these walls I learn to stand tall
and to fight for that which I believe
Within these walls I met people that
were destined for greatness. Maybe not
greatness as you know it but greatness
just the same and they were willing to
share some of that greatness with me
Within these walls I met people who
seemed larger than life itself. And I've
placed them in the same arenas as kings
and queens, gods and goddesses.
Within these walls I learn to venture off
to far away lands and not return until I
closed the book.
Within these walls I met people that other
won't have the opportunity to meet: Harriet,
Malcom, Fredrick, Martin, Nat, Shakesphere, and
Langston. It was Langston who now brings me
to you.
