Don'T Go

You whispered your last words into my ears
As your heartbeat fades away
I'm holding you in my arms begging god to
Let you see another day
You try to tell me you love me but your too weak,
I tell you 'Shh' don't explain anything and to please don't speak.
I can't imagine not one single day of my life without you
So if you die I want to die too.
I hold you tight and tell you everything is going to be okay,
even though god can take you from me at any moment, today.
I spread my palm on your heart and
I feel it as it slowly beats, im screaming and begging you to please don't leave.
I hold your body tighter and tighter and your lips are icy blue, you try and tell me you love me again, but I already knew. Your heartbeat is almost completely gone, please don't go, please stay don't leave me here alone.
You raise your head up and we are face to face, and then that's when you take your last breath upon my lips.
