Use And Misuse

We know the value and usefulness of wealth
to recon its misuse is that which is in dearth

We know the essence and value of time
the abuse we do with it is always but fine

We know the usefulness of Science and Technology
but unaware of its misuse we put our lives in jeopardy

We know the power of knowledge and its guild
but fail to understand the tower of ignorance we build

We cherish the value of name and fame
but abuse it and don't ever sense the shame

On the Day of judgment though
God Almighty will ask you so

I gave you wealth, time, knowledge and fame
you ought to tell how you spent the same

You will not be answerable for its use
but will be punished for the vast misuse
